This just in!

Lazy Acres Learning Camp + Extended Summer is here to help your family whether you're 'back to school' or 'back to summer'! Our local school districts have delayed the start of all in person school until at least September 4. Don’t fret- we want to help! We have certified K-8 teachers and experienced child care professionals ready to guide your kiddos through this process at Lazy Acres starting the first day of school. 


Lazy Acres will be open for child care, educational guidance, and play, with tutoring available for an additional fee. We will have a dedicated work space for your children to bring their laptops/notebooks, and our staff will assist in getting them logged in and progressing through their coursework. Designated play times and plenty of outdoor space to let off some steam will create the perfect environment for your child to learn and grow in an unconventional way.

We will be adapting our plans as needed, so please be flexible. Do not hesitate to reach out with any questions you might have. We promise to do our best to keep you all informed as soon as anything becomes definite. At this time, we will offer Learning Camp at least from August 10 - September 4 as all local school are online learning only.

Learning Camp

We are happy to announce we are expanding our summer camp to adapt to the changes in our schooling. We are offering a blended day full of fun, friends, and online education support by certified child care professionals and local educators.

  • Certified Teachers and Experienced Child Care Providers helping your child navigate their classwork with private tutoring sessions available when needed 

​

  • Schedule is tentative until required class zoom times are confirmed. Classes sorted by grade.

 

  • Technical Support to help your child gain access to their class zoom meetings and website

 

  • Water inflatables on FRIDAYS to celebrate a successful week of Learning Camp

 

  • Sack lunch ($6) and concessions ($1 - $2) available for purchase

Tutoring

Private AND small group tutoring will be available by appointment only Monday-Friday 9:00-10:00am and 4:00-5:30pm. Sessions will be broken up into 30 minutes for your child to have the opportunity to master their skills either one-on-one or in a small peer group. All tutoring sessions will be led by experienced certified teachers.

 

PRIVATE - $30/30 minutes ​

SMALL GROUP - $10/30 minutes

  • English / Language Arts

**If you have submitted immunization records and registration forms for Summer Camp 2020, you do NOT need to do that again. Please email us with the weeks you plan to send your child or make payment for desired weeks above. 

What you need to know

HOURS: 7:30am - 5:30pm  (After care available from 7am-6pm- see payments page for details) 

WHO CAN COME: 1st grade - 8th grade students 

WHAT TO BRING: Backpack complete with school supplies + laptop, wired headphones, lunch, 2 snacks 

WEEKLY RATE: *$160/week *Grand Opening Rate*

TUTORING: Small group tutoring available for an additional fee by certified teachers
